Since 1938 Tops’l Farm has been a place where the most important connections are made, nurtured and celebrated; taking time out of the ordinary hustle and bustle to slow down, enjoy the unique flavor of mid coast Maine, and to relax. We have taken great care to honor this heritage by creating new inspired spaces for the ultimate enjoyment of our farm and look forward to sharing it with you and your group.
Food is the connector of most all things here at Tops’l Farm. We understand the importance of sharing food with friends and colleagues and have elevated this experience on the farm to include a variety of options for your group getaway.
From a welcome bonfire with wild foraged cocktails & s’mores, open fire cast-iron breakfasts cooked in our woodland glamp ground, or packed vintage coolers for provisions throughout the stay, we are prepared to curate a food experience for your time on the farm that will be as memorable as any.
Our in-house team focuses on smaller, curated meal experiences but if a 100 person meal is your plan, we’ve got people for that.
One of the most unique locations and structures at Tops’l Farm is our Riverside Yurt. A lovely walk through the fern swathed path to the Medomak River on the eastern border of the property, we have created a space for groups to gather in our woodland 24’ yurt. With a large fire pit, custom Adirondack chairs and lighting from candle and gas lanterns, the options are endless for use of this space. It has been used as a yoga space, cocktail hours, group dinners, etc.
Our impressive, newly constructed event barn on the pastoral setting of Tops’l Farm is an idyllic spot for a group gathering in mid coast Maine. The impressive event barn boasts heritage post & beam construction & materials, yet is balanced by a fresh approach on design and overall aesthetic. For group events on property the barn is included as a flexible space during your stay.
Additional options exist to rent the barn venue by the hour for photo shoots, corporate meetings, pop up events & more.
A picturesque stroll though the pasture to our event tent location is what country dreams are made of. For an event that is larger than our 150 person capacity at the barn, or for those who would like a tented gathering in the back meadow, we have installed electrical capabilities and water access in the back field. A mowed walking path through the tall grass will provide an idyllic scene as guests move from the barn to the tent for dinner.
archery on Blueberry Hill
One of the many activities for your group at Tops’l, Blueberry Hill is the perfect spot to summon your inner Katniss and learn a forgotten skill. Our registered Maine Guide on staff will lead your group through the basics of this sport, while overlooking our pristine blueberry fields.
Total capacity for all lodging is between 29–42 (depending on sleeping arrangements). Info on additional lodging in the area can be provided.
Perhaps what makes our property so unique are the plentiful and varied options for lodging at Tops’l Farm. With any property takeover, we do require a minimum 2 night stay.
Newly renovated with a chef kitchen, marble countertops, large seating areas and lots of sunlight, the farmhouse at Tops’l Farm is a gorgeous option for families to congregate on property. A mix of vintage furniture with a modern farmhouse touch fills this space and is centrally located on property.
