We believe in the power of the woods to help nurture and bring to life the creative spirit. This summer, we are hoping to support our larger creative community by offering 3 spots for “Creatives at Camp”. We are placing a call for artists, academicians, curators, and all manner of creative people for a time and space away from their usual environment and obligations to come and become inspired by the spaces we have created at Tops’l Farm.
Join us for a day of fun as we kick off our 2018 season! There will be a lot going on at the farm on opening weekend — welcoming animals to our pastures for the first time since the late 1940s, fishing excursions, jam making and more. Saturday evening will be marked by our first barn dinner of the summer season — join us for lawn games, wild foraged cocktails & a Maine summer bbq.
We plan to celebrate the holiday with a riverside paella & fireworks and would love to have you join us at Tops’l Farm. Whether you are staying on the property for the night or just in the area enjoying the blissful months of summer, we’d love to have you join us! We promise good food, company and a few fireworks to cap off the night.
How does a weekend with your pals spent throwing axes, foraging for cocktails, playing barn games & cruising the Maine coast sound? Yeah, that’s what we thought. We have an epic weekend planned for our 2nd annual Adult Summer Camp weekend and hope you and your pals can join us. Let’s just break down the itinerary for you and we’ll see how fast you can herd that group of friends you have together and claim your spots!
Due to popularity of our first family summer camp, we are adding an additional weekend to the summer roster! Our second family summer camp is August 24th & 26th. A time for families and friends to gather at Tops’l, enjoy the outdoors and have a bit of fun. Join us for a weekend of campfires, field games, scavenger hunts and more.
One of our favorite weekends of the year — the Common Ground Fair marks fall for us here in Maine. A celebration of rural living and agricultural traditions of Maine, about 60,000 people visit the fair annually. Tops’l Farm is located about an hour south of the fairgrounds — close enough to enjoy a day at the fair and come back to rest after a day on your feet.
Take a true escape from city living. Our final weekend of the 2018 season — a time to sharpen your outdoor skills, enjoy craft whiskey tasting with a local distillery, and work with Registered Maine Guide & Team Tops’l member Jeremy Lucas. Jeremy will lead the group through a series of awesome activities — skeet shooting, archery 101, survival skills in the Maine woods and more.
Join us for a very special barn dinner celebrating the flavors of Maine Maple (and our first year of maple syrup production) at Tops'l Farm. Collaborating with Chef Shane McGarvey and the team from Harvest Moon of Waldoboro Maine, the feast will include 5 courses, family style in the impressive timber frame barn at the farm.
