You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient bar operations, acting as one of our lead Bar Hosts during our private events.

As a Head Bar Host, you will:
Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere within the bar team, promoting clear communication and good-vibes for our staff and guests.
Lead by example in upholding company standards for guest interactions and on-site behavior, both front-of-house and back-of-house.
Work closely with management to maintain high standards for drink quality and presentation.
Adhere to all local and government regulations for cleanliness and safety, ensuring a healthy and well-maintained bar area.
Utilize our POS system to accurately process orders and ensure efficient service.
Assist in maintaining the organization and styling of the bar area, including non-alcoholic beverage offerings.
Help maintain efficient organization in our beverage storage areas.
Follow opening and closing duties for the bar, ensuring all areas are prepared for service and properly secured afterwards.
As needed, assist with opening the barn, greeting clients, and addressing guest inquiries.
Help maintain organization in all back-of-house beverage areas.
Assist with pre-season inventory of glassware and supplies.
From time to time, support the Event Manager during meal service to ensure excellent overall guest experience (without detracting from primary bar duties).
Guide and support bar staff to ensure efficient workflow during events.
Enforce last call and bar closing times.
Communicate effectively with the Event Planner and/or Event Captain to resolve issues and report any incidents as needed.
Ensure all required side work is completed by the bar team.
Assist with dismissing bar staff as the event progresses and work slows.
Communicate any staffing needs or concerns to management.
Help ensure the building is locked up if you are the last one on site.
Contribute to a post-event recap, noting any damages or areas for improvement.
Skill Sets
Enthusiasm for craft cocktails, foraged/garden ingredients, small producer wines, craft beers. A natural ease with FOH operations but a tremendous eye for detail and organization for BOH logistics.
Compensation
Tipped hourly wage w/ gratuity. Bonus at the end of the season for reaching personal and company goals - solid hustle, good communication and showing up.
Schedule
Schedule & Commitment: Part-time hours begin in May 2025 for initial bar setup and team training. Our event season runs from June through November, followed by Winter Raclette events starting December 5th, 2025.
