In a world that often rushes us towards the holidays with frantic shopping and endless to-do lists, The Cozy Creative offers a different path. This November, step away from the commercial clamor and immerse yourself in a weekend dedicated to the simple joy of making with your own hands. More than just a crafting retreat, this is an opportunity to reconnect with your innate creativity, forge meaningful connections with other women, and infuse your holiday season with intention and heart.

Lodging: Several on-farm locations/room types available.
All Meals: Early morning nibbles followed by a more robust brunch in our barn will be offered both days. Afternoon snacks and refreshments will be offered daily. For those staying over night, we will gather for seasonally focused communal dinners in our Event Barn space.

Lodging listed for the weekend is available in a several beautiful properties—all lovely places to pause.
There are rooms in the Tops'l Farmhouse, Cottage & Cider House (.5 miles down the road)
If spots sell out there is an option to bring on additional lodging at a partnering property just down the road! Please inquire if you would like us to explore this for a private group of 5 in advance of making it public.The Tops'l Farmhouse and Event Barn space will be our communal hangouts for the weekend—so all guests will have communal spots to hang each day on the farm.

We have the following TYPES of rooms in each space:
Private Room. We offer several private room. Some have their own private bath, others are private rooms with shared baths.
Private Shared Room. This is a double occupancy room for one person to book for more than one person. The perfect option if you are looking to come to Petite Pause with a friend or two. Once booked, we will follow up with you closer to the date to get information on your additional guests!
Shared Room. This is a double occupancy room where you will be reserving a bed and sharing the space with a new friend. Just like summer camp!

This will not be a retreat with 100 options to do each day. We have made sure to schedule lots of delicious space in your time at the farm and this is INTENTIONAL!

Massage (included for all full retreat participants, optional add-on for day passers)
You will be the cruise director for these precious hours - allowing you the time and space to use it exactly how you need. Whatever that looks like. All offerings above are 100% optional).

Food is our love language and a big part of the shared Tops'l Farm Petite Pause experience.
Each morning there will be nibbles in each of the lodging spaces for early noshing followed by a lovely communal (and hearty) brunch.
We offer an afternoon snack before our workshops.
Dinners will be held in our Event Barn space with a focus on seasonaly appropriate food that is nourishing, delicious and as local as we can get. If you have dietary restrictions please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Many women have expressed a desire to participate in our retreats but are either local (and do not need lodging) OR are only able to sneak away for a day or a night.
We launched “DAY PASS” for each of our retreats, allowing pausers to come Friday or Saturday at 8 am for meditation & yoga and stay through the afternoon workshops. An option to add dinner/overnight for one night is also an option!
Meet Rachel
Based in Portland, Maine, multidisciplinary artist Rachel Gloria Adams creates vibrant, graphic pattern-based artwork inspired by the natural world and motherhood. Her pieces, which take form through quilting, painting, and murals, possess an heirloom quality and have been celebrated in exhibitions at prestigious venues like the Portland Museum of Art.
A recipient of the Indigo Arts Alliance Fellowship, Rachel's art invites a sense of warmth and enduring creativity. We are over the moon that she is spending the weekend with us to lead us all in low-key, joyous and craft-y projects over the weekend retreat.

Meditation & Guidance
With deep roots in Maine and a lifetime of mindfulness practice, Jess brings a compassionate presence to all of our retreats in 2025. Having personally experienced the transformative power of mindfulness through life's challenges, Jess will offer group meditation practice to help cultivate present-moment awareness, stress reduction, emotional balance and inner renewal. -
Lisa Millette
Morning yoga in the barn for all levels from the lovely and oh-so-talented Lisa Millette.
Lisa brings a deeply holistic approach to yoga, blending physical postures with mindful exploration of philosophy and energetic work. With years of experience and a warm, welcoming presence, she creates a space where you can move, reflect, and connect with your inner self -
Meridith Kruse, PhD, LMT,
Meridith brings her deep understanding of body wisdom to 'Maine Bloom,' offering therapeutic massage and acupressure to help you release what no longer serves you. Her work aligns with the retreat's theme of renewal, clearing pathways for inner clarity and allowing your inherent 'diamond' to shine.
