Summer on the Farm

Let’s Curate Your Tops’l Experience

Farm Stays

2-Night Mini Retreats
Kicking off Memorial Weekend - October 2026

This summer, we’re opening our gates for an unstructured escape with our new 2-night Farm Stays, designed for those who crave a retreat without the rigid itinerary. Across our 83 acres, you are invited to set your own pace—whether that means stretching in the Glass House, soaking in a wood-fired hot tub, or simply doing nothing at all. While the days are yours to define, the evenings bring everyone together for candlelit, farm-to-table feasts, including our signature wood-fired pizza nights and seasonal Grange Suppers. After a decade of hosting, we’ve learned that the greatest luxury is often just the permission to be; here, we provide the space, the local flavors, and the quiet beauty of the land to help you do exactly that.

Petite Pause

Our Beloved Women’s Retreat

Our Seasonal Pauses offer a much-needed sanctuary for women who are "touched out" and ready for a simpler, slower pace. Running from Thursday to Sunday, these long-weekend escapes prioritize maximum decompression without the pressure of forced bonding; whether you arrive seeking fierce solitude or quiet connection with others, your boundaries are respected. You’ll have the space to disappear into a book or gather for curated moments in the serene setting of the farm, leaving you feeling more "awake" and ready for what’s next. For those nearby, we occasionally offer Day Passes for a quick reset without the overnight commitment. Most importantly, every retreat includes a Gift of Pause, where we provide one full experience to a woman in significant need of rest, because we believe this rare commodity should be accessible to those who need it most.

The Outside Inside Fund

Come. Stay. Teach.

At Tops’l Farm, we believe that the strength of Maine’s heritage industries deserves to be sustained from the inside out. Through the Outside Inside Fund, we have made a permanent commitment to support mental health, wellness, and suicide prevention for the farmers, fishermen, and loggers who serve as the backbone of our state. This initiative is built directly into our business model: 1% of every public Farm Stay, farm store product, and community meal goes toward funding peer support and restorative resources for those working in these demanding, often isolating fields. Established in memory of a loved one lost in 2024, the fund seeks to break the culture of silence by gathering people around the table to ensure that those carrying invisible burdens are seen and supported. By booking a stay or joining us for one of our benefit dinners, you are contributing to a vital effort to care for the people who quietly care for the land and sea.
