This summer, we're opening our gates for something new: 2-night Farm Stays that give you the best of Tops’l without a single agenda item.

Think of it as your own private mini retreat. You set the pace. Wake up to birdsong and wander down when you’re ready. Stretch in our Glass House. Soak in the wood-fired hot tub under the stars. Explore 83 acres of trails, meadows, and river views. Or do absolutely nothing at all.

After a decade of hosting retreats and celebrations, we know what people really need: space to breathe, beautiful food, and permission to just be.

Throughout your stay, you’ll gather around the table for our special farm-to-table dinner experiences — wood-fired pizza nights and seasonal Grange Suppers that celebrate what’s growing, what’s local, and what’s best shared. Long tables, candlelight, and meals rooted in this land are at the heart of it all.

Every Farm Stay includes meals that feel like summer at its very best — abundant, unfussy, and meant to be shared.

We’ll greet you with a welcome beverage on arrival to toast the start of your stay (because every good getaway deserves a proper cheers).

Your Stay Includes These Farm Gatherings:

  • Monday: Wood-fired pizza night — slow-fermented dough, seasonal toppings, and that perfect smoky char.

  • Tuesday Morning: Farm Breakfast — think farm eggs, just-baked breads, seasonal fruit, and plenty of coffee.

  • Tuesday Evening: Grange Supper — a hearty, communal dinner celebrating the best of the season.

  • Wednesday: Farewell Brunch — a little later in the morning - one last lingering meal before the road calls you home.

    • Daily Farm Breakfast— Farm eggs, fresh-baked goods, seasonal fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee & tea

    • Farm Dinners — Wood-fired pizza night and Grange Supper, celebrating the best seasonal ingredients from our farm and local producers

    • Welcome Drinks- at check in.

    • Daily Ice Cream — Available at our Event Barn bar 

    • Departure Gift from our Farm Store to take a bit of the magic home

    • Daily Yoga in our new Glass House

    • Odd Alewives — Five minutes away. Always cozy, always delicious

    • Morse's Sauerkraut — Provisions, local goods, and discoveries

    • Damariscotta, Camden & Rockland — Perfect for day trips and dining adventures

    These are great options if you’d like to venture out for lunch, snacks, or additional provisions.

    We also offer picnic baskets and house-made treats available in our farm store on site, perfect for enjoying on the trails, in your cottage, or out in the meadow. These do need to be ordered in advance and will be ready for you after breakfast on your first morning.

Wood Fired Sauna, Hot Tub & Cold Plunge

Our Meadowhouse wellness space is yours to enjoy throughout your stay. Wood-fired sauna. Hot tub under the pines.

Cold plunge if you're feeling brave. It's self-guided, unhurried, and exactly what you need after too many months of go-go-go. 

In-House Massage

Want to take rest to the next level? Add an in-house massage with one of our retreat-tested therapists. You've earned it. 

Schedule a 60-minute session with one of our sought-after retreat therapists. $130 includes gratuity.

 

Yoga & Meditation

Each morning, we offer gentle yoga and meditation in our Glass House — a light-filled space overlooking the gardens. Show up in your pajamas. Skip it entirely. There's no attendance sheet here.

Our original farmhouse is the heart of Tops'l. Front porch, spacious kitchen, multiple bedrooms with a mix of private and shared baths. It's where generations have gathered, and now it's yours.

The Farm Cottage

A cozy cottage perfect for a small family or friends’ getaway. Full kitchen, comfortable living space, and your own private outdoor area. It feels like home, but better — because someone else made breakfast.

Woodland Cabins 18+

Flat rate includes Full Retreat for 2 Adults | Shared Bathhouse | 11 Cabins Available

Tucked into the woods, our cabins are simple, charming, and perfectly quiet. Each cabin has a King or Twin bed configuration, a small porch, and not much else — by design. The shared bathhouse is a short walk through the trees and includes full facilities. 

Perfect for: Couples, solo travelers, friends who want their own space 

Age Restriction: The campground and classes are 18+ only.

This ensures a peaceful, relaxing environment for all guests and allows everyone to fully enjoy the farm experience, activities, and shared spaces without disruptions.

What's Included in Every Rate 

Every Farm Stay rate includes lodging and a collection of shared meals and experiences throughout your stay. Guests enjoy wood-fired pizza night, Tuesday farm breakfast, Grange Supper, and Wednesday farewell brunch.

Your stay also includes morning yoga, Meadowhouse wellness access (sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge), welcome treats on arrival, daily ice cream at the bar, evening fire pit access, and full access to 83 acres of trails, gardens, and farm animals. Each stay concludes with a small departure gift to take a bit of the farm home with you.

All taxes are included — no surprise fees, just arrive and settle in.

  • Not exactly. Farm Stays are self-directed — you choose how to spend your time. Daily brunch and our special farm dinners are included and available, along with yoga, but there’s no schedule to follow. Think of it as retreat amenities without the itinerary. 

  • Included: Lodging, daily brunch, Monday wood-fired pizza dinner, Tuesday Grange Supper, Wednesday farewell brunch, yoga/meditation, sauna/hot tub/cold plunge, welcome treats, daily ice cream, fire pit, trails, games, and a departure gift.

    Extras: Massage ($130), picnic baskets, extra nights.

  • Yes! Many of our cabins are perfect for couples looking to disconnect together. The Queen Suite Cabin has a private bathroom if that's important to you. 

  • Click "Book a Farm Stay" to reserve through WeTravel. 50% deposit required at booking, balance due 30 days before arrival. 

  • Never in your lodging. Houses are rented as whole units to one party only. Cabins are private sleeping spaces with a shared bathhouse. You may see other Farm Stay guests at brunch or on the trails, but your accommodation is yours alone. 

  • Families are absolutely welcome. Children are welcome to stay in the Farmhouse and Farm Cottage; however, please note that the campground and all classes are 18+ only.

    As this is a working farm with uneven terrain, a river, and animals, active supervision is required at all times.

    Children aged 4–12 are subject to a reduced Farm Experience Fee, and children under 4 stay free.

  • Our meals accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets as standard. This includes daily brunch, farm breakfasts, wood-fired pizza night, Grange Suppers, and farewell brunch. For vegan diets or severe allergies, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • Hold deposits are non-refundable but transferable. Cancellations 30+ days out receive a full refund less deposit. 14-30 days: 50% refund. Under 14 days: no refund. We recommend travel insurance.
