The Short List Wedding

Up to 25 guests. 83 acres. All of it yours.

Sixteen weddings each season.
One unforgettable weekend at a time.

The Philosophy

Why This Exists

Most "farm wedding venues" hand you a vendor list and a barn. The food comes from a caterer. The planning comes from a coordinator you hire. The lodging is down the road.

We built something different.

The farm that raises your food is the same land where you say your vows. The team that plans your celebration is the same team that cooks your dinner and pours your drinks. Your guests sleep here, eat here, celebrate here — nothing is outsourced, nothing is assembled from parts.

We don't know of another venue in Maine that works this way. At 25 people, it all fits — one table, one fire, one place that holds the whole weekend.

What Makes Us Different

Nothing to Assemble

No caterer to hire. No rental company to coordinate. No lodging block to manage.

Your guests stay here. Your celebration food come from our kitchen. Your bar, your planning, your weekend — all handled by one team on one property.

At 25 people, it all fits. One table. One fire. One place.

  • The Accomodations

    Gather. Stay

Our accommodations are designed to bring everyone together for the full wedding weekend experience.

The Farmhouse and Cottage offer cozy spaces to gather with friends and family.
The Campground invites a more playful, back-to-nature stay under the stars.
Shared spaces for morning coffee, late-night chats, and everything in between.
Peaceful corners to rest, reset, and soak it all in.

From getting ready to winding down, every stay is part of the celebration — creating space for connection, laughter, and unforgettable moments together.

  • The Food & Drink

    Savor. Share

Our culinary program is designed to make every meal part of the wedding weekend experience.

Farm-raised meats, house-made breads, and seasonal ingredients sourced locally create dishes that are both thoughtful and delicious. Fresh Maine seafood and oysters bring the taste of the coast to your table, while house-made desserts and pastries add a sweet touch to every celebration.

Meals are shared experiences — from casual farm breakfasts to lively pizza nights and elegant farm dinners — creating space for laughter, connection, and memories with friends and family.

Menus change with the seasons, showcasing the very best of Maine and reflecting the rhythm of the farm. Every bite is meant to be savored, shared, and remembered.

The Experience

Every event we host is crafted with intention — from the atmosphere we create to the flow of each experience, ensuring every moment feels thoughtful, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Friday — Welcome

Guests arrive on Friday to cozy cabins nestled in the woods, the perfect backdrop to unwind and settle in for the weekend ahead.

The rehearsal dinner brings everyone together around long farm tables, filled with laughter, stories, and the warmth of family and friends reconnecting.

As the evening draws to a close, guests gather by the fire pit under a sky full of stars — a magical start to the wedding weekend and a moment to savor before the celebrations begin.

Saturday — Wedding Day

The wedding day unfolds across the farm, from getting ready in the cozy cabins to the moments of “I do” in the meadows, woodlands, or Event Barn.

Celebrate together over family-style meals under the string lights, creating memories you’ll carry for years to come.

Laugh, dance, and revel with friends and family, moving to the gardens and fire pits as the evening comes alive.
The night closes with everyone gathered around the fire pits or beneath the star-filled sky — a moment that feels like it could last a lifetime.

Sunday — Farewell

Sunday morning unfolds with a slow Maine brunch — blueberry ployes, farm-fresh eggs, and maple syrup tapped from our own trees.

Guests gather in the Event Barn or the Glass House, sharing coffee, stories, and laughter as the weekend winds down.

Goodbyes are heartfelt, and the farm grows quiet around you, marking the end of a wedding weekend full of connection, celebration, and moments that will stay with you forever.

A Place to Gather

Tops’l Farm was built around a simple idea:

That weddings can be joyful, generous, and rooted in place.

A celebration not only of two people —
but of community, land, and the people who help bring it all together.
