GUEST FLORAL DESIGNER
Tops'l Farm · Waldoboro, Maine · Two Dates, Summer 2026
An Invitation to Design from the Land.
Tops'l Farm is an event venue and working farm on the coast of Maine. For Summer 2026, we're inviting one floral designer to join us for two curated weddings — a chance to work from our 83 acres, design with what's growing here, and see what it feels like to create within a fully supported farm environment.
This isn't a vendor call. It's an introduction.
The opportunity
We have two summer wedding dates available for a Guest Floral Designer. You'll have access to our dedicated floral workspace (the Potting Shed), farm-grown flowers harvested by our crew, and a venue team that handles all the logistics around you. You bring your eye and your craft. We handle the rest.
Our farm-to-vase philosophy is simple: we grow what we can, source locally what we can't, and trust the seasons to provide. Couples who book with us have already embraced that — no Pinterest board chasing, no flying flowers in from South America. Just what's blooming, beautifully arranged.
Compensation
Designers are compensated per item on a structured menu — personal flowers, ceremony pieces, reception arrangements, and installations each carry a clear labor rate. Full compensation details provided upon inquiry.
Depending on when the work needs to be done - it’s possible there are overnight accommodations for Thursday into Friday.
Who we're looking for
You're a working floral designer based in Midcoast Maine (or close to it) with a portfolio that speaks for itself. You appreciate seasonal, place-based work. You're curious about what a farm partnership could look like — and you want to find out without overcommitting.
For the right fit, we'd love to explore a full 2027 season together.
To apply
Send a note and your portfolio or photos of your work to the email below. Tell us what draws you to this kind of work and what's been growing in your designs lately. We can’t wait to chat!
