The Seasonal Box
FROM WALDOBORO MAINE:
Made on our farm, with what Maine grows. Sent home to you.
Each limited edition box holds what we’re curious about and making on the farm this season — jams and syrups for the table, botanical balms and sprays for rest — each built around an ingredient grown here in Maine.
For 10 seasons, people have come to our farm for rest and connection. Now we’re sending a little of it home with you. Every box traces back to a Maine farm we know by name, so the traditions you love are still here for the next generation.
What’s in the box?
The products change with the season. The shape of the box stays the same, something for:
Table
Example: Jam from the season’s fruit (sometimes two). Spread it on Sunday toast, or shake a spoonful into a gin and jam.
Glass
Example: Simpler Syrup for the cocktail hour, or a drizzle over the pancakes the morning after.
Hands
Example: A balm or oil for work and play, the Maine way. Made for hands that stack the wood and pull the weeds.
Evenings
Example: A linen mist or a candle. Something for the house once the work is done.
Curiosity
Example: Whatever we’re playing with right now: an ingredient, a method, a small experiment. Shared only with the people on this list.
Bonus Items in every Box:
A story card for every item
A tiny insert, included in the box before it’s published anywhere else.
A farm dispatch
What the season was actually like here, written from the farm.
A note from Sarah
Who made it, which farm it came from, how to enjoy it best.

“I grew up on a farm in Montville, watching my mother’s hands do a little of everything: put up jam, darn a sock, rub salve into cracked knuckles at the end of a long day.
For a decade, Tops’l has cooked with what Maine farms grow. This box is my way back to that other kind of work: making useful things by hand, slowly, the way I learned. Cranberries from Moody Mountain Farm in Lincolnville, milk from Bo Lait Organic Farm in Washington, Maine, two of more than twenty farms we buy from across the state. Scan any jar and you’ll meet them.
It’s a small return to practical things. I hope it slows your days down a little, the way it does mine.”
